Join our new & dynamic agency team as an Intensive In-Home Therapist, where you will play a vital role in delivering personalized mental health and behavioral support directly within clients’ homes and communities. This energetic position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing comprehensive therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and their families. You will utilize your expertise in behavioral health, social work, and crisis intervention to foster positive change, promote resilience, and support individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities and autism. Your proactive approach will help empower families and strengthen community ties through compassionate, evidence-based care. Duties
-LSW - $72 per hour
-LCSW & LPC's- $76 PER hour
-BACKGROUND CHECKS/ CLEAN DRIVING RECORD REQUIRED
- Conduct thorough client assessments to identify behavioral health needs, strengths, and goals
- Develop tailored treatment plans incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and art therapy
- Deliver individual and applicable family counseling sessions focused on mental health, trauma recovery (including PTSD), and behavior management
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to motivate clients toward positive behavioral change
- Manage crises effectively through crisis intervention strategies and conflict management skills
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, case managers, and community partners to coordinate care plans and ensure continuity of services
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collect data on client progress to evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust interventions accordingly
- Provide home-based therapy sessions that promote skill development in natural environments for children with disabilities or special education needs
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to behavioral health practices, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation methods
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field; licensure or certification preferred
- Proven experience working with children and families in home or community settings
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health interventions such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed care
- Familiarity with medical documentation standards, medical terminology, and electronic health record systems (EHR) CYBER- including HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient care coordination and family engagement
- Ability to manage crises calmly and efficiently while demonstrating conflict management skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for home visits are required
