The Role
As an Assistive Technology Specialist, you’ll be a trusted AAC consultant for Speech-Language Pathologists and teams across the Mountain West region including Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah and South Dakota. Your focus is to listen first, understand each client’s communication needs, and help clinicians identify the right AAC solutions including devices, software, and access/mounting options. You’ll also help professionals reduce barriers by connecting them to Forbes AAC resources (including funding and tech support) so they can spend more time on clinical care and implementation.

· Coordinate informational meetings and follow-ups with consistency and care (phone, email, text, virtual meetings, and in-person).
· Document outreach, meetings, and next steps in CRM tools, so nothing falls through the cracks.

· Maintain HIPAA/FERPA compliance and handle sensitive information with integrity.

· Confident presenter and trainer who can tailor education to different audiences.
