CPC non-emergency medical transport drivers,
Community Pastor Care: is currently seeking drivers to provide safe and timely transportation for our clients who require non-emergency medical transportation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transporting patients to and from medical appointments, including doctor’s offices, hospitals, and clinics
- Adhere to all agency and state driver regulations, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Assisting patients in and out of the vehicle as needed, including patients with mobility impairments or who use wheelchairs or other mobility aids
• Manage transportation schedules and coordinate with dispatch using NEMT software (e.g., MediRoute). • Monitor and update schedules in real-time to optimize operations and address changes promptly.
- Ensuring that the vehicle is clean and well-maintained, including regular cleaning and maintenance checks and report any maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Following all traffic laws and regulations and always practicing safe driving habits • Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure functionality and safety
- Communicating with dispatchers, medical staff, and patients as needed to ensure smooth and efficient transportation services
• Completing all required paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring that patients feel comfortable and safe during their transportation experience
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Provide a copy of your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) covering 3-5 years (dated less than 30 days).
- Must be over 25 years old and have a Valid Driver’s License
- Prior experience in the NEMT field is preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds and assist patients with mobility impairments as needed
• Excellent communication and customer service skills • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules
• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical, criminal background check, and drug test • Submit TB testing, and any other required vaccinations.
