Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, ensuring it is organized and free of debris.
- Assist in food preparation by washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables as needed.
- Help with the setup and breakdown of banquet events or catering services.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others, including cooks and servers.
- Familiarity with banquet service or catering operations is a plus.
