Front Desk Receptionist – V-Groom Pet Grooming

Vgroom Pet Grooming is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to be the face of our salon. This position supports both our storefront grooming salon and mobile grooming division, helping ensure a smooth experience for our clients, groomers, and their pets.

Responsibilities
- Greet and check in clients and their pets.
- Answer incoming phone calls, emails, text messages, and social media inquiries.
- Schedule and manage appointments for both storefront and mobile grooming services.
- Coordinate routes and appointment updates with mobile groomers.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and balance the cash drawer.
- Explain grooming packages, pricing, policies, and promotions to clients.
- Maintain accurate customer and pet records.
- Contact clients regarding appointment confirmations, reminders, and completed services.
- Assist with retail sales and product recommendations.
- Keep the front lobby clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Support the grooming team with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable using scheduling software, computers, and POS systems.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods.
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Passion for providing exceptional service to pet owners and their pets.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a grooming salon, veterinary clinic, kennel, or pet daycare.
- Ability to upsell grooming packages, add-on services, and retail products.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.

Schedule
- Monday–Saturday
- Weekend availability preferred.
- Day shifts with occasional flexibility during busy seasons.
