Job Title : Machinist - Level II
Location: Spanish Fork, UT
Job Overview :
Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders) to produce precision metal parts according to engineering drawings and tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and calculate dimensions to plan machining steps.
- Select, adapt, and sharpen cutting tools, and set machine speeds and feeds.
- Perform standard machining operations (turning, milling, drilling, boring, tapping) on various metals.
- Load raw materials (up to 50 lbs), secure workpieces, and maintain equipment.
- Follow all workplace safety standards and operating procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or trade school training, plus 3+ years of related machining experience.
- Proven ability to set up and operate lathes, mills, or grinding equipment.
- Proficient in reading engineering blueprints and diagrams.
- Basic computer proficiency and strong teamwork/communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and flexibility to work extended hours if needed.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
