Shaddow & Fish is a beloved coastal lifestyle retailer with deep roots in Key West, known for effortless resort wear, unique finds, and a relaxed yet elevated shopping experience.
As we expand to Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, we are seeking passionate team members to join us in bringing the Shaddow & Fish experience to a new community and helping establish the culture of our newest location.
The Role
We are seeking enthusiastic, style-minded Stylist Associates who are passionate about hospitality, fashion, and creating meaningful connections with our guests. This role is about more than completing transactions, it’s about welcoming customers, understanding their needs, offering thoughtful recommendations, and helping each guest discover something they love.
Customer Experience & Hospitality

Associates will:

- Engage customers through genuine conversation and personalized service

- Deliver exceptional fitting room experiences through attentive service and thoughtful outfitting
Styling & Product Knowledge
Our associates are brand ambassadors, storytellers, and stylists. Every associate is encouraged to develop a strong understanding of our products and brands carried throughout the store, to better assist guests and offer thoughtful outfitting solutions.
Associates will:
- Develop a strong understanding of Shaddow & Fish’s products, collections, and brand aesthetic.
- Confidently style outfits and recommend complementary pieces
- Share product details, inspiration, and unique selling points with guests
- Stay current on new arrivals, seasonal trends, and merchandising updates
- Inspire customers through creativity and personal style
Teamwork & Communication

Associates will:
- Build positive relationships with teammates and leadership

Brand Representation & Social Media Engagement
At Shaddow & Fish, our associates are an extension of our brand both inside and outside of the store. We believe authentic storytelling helps guests connect with our products, our team, and the Shaddow & Fish lifestyle.
Associates will:
- Represent the Shaddow & Fish brand through authentic enthusiasm, personal style, and positive guest experiences
- Be comfortable appearing in social media content, including photos, videos, and short-form content created for the store’s social media presence
- Assist with creating engaging content that showcases new arrivals, styling ideas, and product stories in a way that inspires guests to visit the store and experience Shaddow & Fish in person.
- Share creative ideas for social media content, merchandising moments, and ways to connect with our community
- Understand the importance of maintaining a professional and brand-aligned presence when representing Shaddow & Fish online
Visual Standards & Store Operations
Every detail matters in creating the Shaddow & Fish experience.
Associates will:
- Maintain a beautiful, organized, and visually appealing sales floor
- Support merchandising standards and product presentation
- Assist with shipment, replenishment, and inventory organization
- Maintain fitting room standards and guest-ready spaces
- Complete opening and closing responsibilities
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently
- Support daily operations while keeping the customer experience the priority
Role Qualifications

- Are dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented
- Are excited to be part of an established brand’s expansion
Retail experience is preferred but not necessarily required. We believe the best associates combine strong people skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to make customers feel welcomed. We are equally interested in personality, work ethic, and a genuine desire to create exceptional experiences.

- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work daytime and/or evening shifts
- Reliability is extremely valued and important
