Maintenance Supervisor
The first shift Maintenance Supervisor role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact at a growing manufacturing facility. Reporting directly to the Site Leader, the successful candidate will lead a team of maintenance professionals while driving equipment reliability, asset performance, and maintenance excellence to support safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.
This is a highly visible leadership position requiring strong communication, hands-on problem-solving, and the ability to build effective maintenance systems that support safe, compliant, and uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development

Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians.

Foster a culture of safety, accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.

Plan staffing, training, and development activities to support 24/7 operations.

Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and employee development planning.
Maintenance & Reliability

Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime.

Lead troubleshooting efforts and drive root cause analysis to eliminate recurring failures.

Ensure maintenance plans, work orders, permits, risk assessments, and shutdown activities are effectively planned and executed.

Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance records, and equipment performance data.

Utilize reliability metrics and maintenance data to improve asset performance and reduce downtime.

Provide hands-on support during maintenance activities and equipment breakdowns as needed.
Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

Champion safe work practices and ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Manage contractors and support audits, inspections, and compliance initiatives.

Develop and maintain SOPs, risk assessments, and maintenance procedures.

Identify and implement process improvements that enhance reliability, efficiency, and operational performance.
Qualifications
Required

5+ years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.

Experience leading a maintenance team or coordinating maintenance operations.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with preventive maintenance programs, equipment troubleshooting, and reliability improvement.
