We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Hotel General Manager to lead the overall success of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Picayune. This role is responsible for driving financial performance, operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and associate engagement while developing a high-performing leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Talent Development
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the hotel leadership team.
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and recognition.
- Build leadership capability through coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
- Promote a positive, inclusive workplace that reflects the company’s values.
Hotel Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring consistent execution of brand standards.
- Maintain exceptional quality, cleanliness, safety, and service standards.
- Conduct regular property inspections and ensure preventative maintenance programs are effectively managed.
- Drive operational consistency and continuous improvement across all departments.
Financial Performance
- Lead the financial success of the hotel through effective budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and expense control.
- Analyze business trends and key performance metrics to identify opportunities for revenue growth and improved profitability.
- Partner with Revenue Management to maximize ADR, Occupancy, RevPAR, and overall market performance.
- Ensure responsible stewardship of company assets and resources.
Guest Experience
- Foster a guest-focused culture that consistently delivers exceptional service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction metrics, online reputation, and service recovery efforts.
- Develop action plans to continuously improve the guest experience and brand performance.
Business Partnership
- Collaborate with Regional Leadership, Sales, Revenue Management, Human Resources, Accounting, and Engineering to achieve operational and financial objectives.
- Build strong relationships with ownership, community partners, and local businesses to support hotel performance and market presence.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, brand standards, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment for guests and associates.
- Support quality assurance initiatives and ensure the hotel remains inspection ready.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum five (5) years of progressive hotel leadership experience.
- Previous General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a hotel environment.
- Select-service hotel experience.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, labor, and operational performance.
- Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
- Brand experience within a nationally recognized hotel system.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field.
