RN – Endoscopy
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 2 shifts: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM & 2 shifts: 8:30 AM–7:00 PM
Hours: 4x9.5 hours Shift (37.50 Weekly Hours)
Job Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures.
- Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures.
- Support the endoscopy team and provide safe, patient-centered care.
- Follow established nursing standards, safety protocols, and infection-control practices.
- Document patient care and clinical information accurately in the EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals throughout the patient's care.
- Float to units appropriate to the nurse's skillset when required.
Requirements
- BSN required.
- Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy experience within the last 3 years.
- Active New York State RN License in hand.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Willingness to float to appropriate units based on skillset.
- Completed skills checklist matching the required skill set.
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical exemption required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong recent experience in Endoscopy.
- Experience working in a fast-paced procedural environment.
- Strong assessment, communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to adapt to different clinical units based on competency.
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
