Requirements
- Relevant industry experience is a plus
- Mechanically inclined
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Commercial dock/door, Electrical, Metal Fabrication, or Hydraulics
- Must be willing/able to work long hours, rotating on-call, and physically demanding environments
- AAADM Certification is a plus
- IDEA Certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a background check
Position Summary
C&D Industrial Maintenance is hiring a Commercial Dock & Door Technician earning $22–$37 per hour depending on experience to install, repair, and maintain commercial doors, dock equipment, automated gates, compactors, and balers. Technicians operate independently most days, drive a take-home service truck, and perform portal-to-portal service, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance across Florida.

Core Responsibilities
- TroubleshootingThe majority of work is repair/service-based. Techs must understand systems, diagnose issues, isolate components, and apply critical thinking to solve problems efficiently.
- SafetyThis work can be dangerous, and safety is taken seriously. Technicians drive fully stocked F250–F600 trucks — they are heavy, require caution, and everyone deserves to make it home safely.
- ProfessionalismWe are a service company first. Clean presentation, customer-first mindset, and solid communication are essential.
