We are seeking a Central Plant Production Manager to oversee our Schenectady facility. In this role, you will lead the plant teams to ensure excellence in cleaning, spotting, finishing, inspection, assembly, and logistics. You will be responsible for fostering a positive culture, managing daily operations, and ensuring every garment meets our high standard of quality for every client, every time.Key Responsibilities

- Team Leadership: Train, motivate, and mentor plant staff to perform according to Best Cleaners’ systems. Manage team leads to ensure operational growth.
- Operational Oversight: Lead the daily production flow, including quality inspections, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring timely completion of all orders.
- Logistics & Maintenance: Manage inventory, oversee weekly supply orders, and maintain plant cleanliness and safety standards.
- Administrative Management: Maintain accurate employee time reports, create effective weekly schedules, and manage restoration workflow to meet strict timelines.
- Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for store issues, coordinate with the Director of Operations/HR on performance and compliance, and foster excellent morale across the production team.
Requirements
- Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead a team, manage scheduling, and coach individuals toward goals and objectives.
- Detail-Oriented: A fanatical eye for quality and operational details.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Flexibility: Availability to work a flexible schedule (Monday through Saturday). Early morning start time: 5-6am.
- Problem Solver: Determination to remove roadblocks and support the production team’s needs.
