Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Production Group Leader to oversee manufacturing operations within our automotive assembly facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient, safe, and quality-driven production of automotive components and assemblies. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes. As a key leader on the production floor, you will coordinate teams, interpret technical documents, and uphold safety and quality standards to meet production goals.
You will be required to work multiple shifts .
Technical degree is preferred.
Automotive experience preferred.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
Analyze and respond promptly to the manufacturing daily plan, making necessary adjustments to operations as required
Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Possess the experience to manage change and navigate ambiguity
Drive accountability through people and processes which may require difficult conversations
Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):
Experience managing, leading people, and addressing performance concerns
Experience solving complex problems and working in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills, experience managing conflict, and decision making
Demonstrate a high analytical ability to solve complex problems
Basic computer proficiency (i.e. Microsoft Word, typing, email etc.)
Must be willing to work rotating shifts
Must be available and willing to regularly work weekends to meet business demands, including approximately two weekends per month
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years managerial experience
Military background is plus

Advanced understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
Experience supervising employees in a union environment
Supply Chain or Quality Experience
Experience implementing Built-in-Quality Initiatives
Red X & DFSS Certification
Lean Manufacturing experience
Knowledge of timekeeping systems
Automotive Experience
Work Schedule:1st- 6am to 2:30pm
2nd-2pm to 10:30pm
3rd-10pm to 6:30am
M-F and most Saturdays/Sundays as required (possibly 7 days)
Pay: $42.00 - $48.00 per hour
