Description: About King University Founded in 1867, King University is a comprehensive Christian university located in Bristol, Tennessee. King is dedicated to providing students with a rich and rigorous academic experience that integrates faith, learning, and service in a close-knit, student-centered community. King University is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach English composition courses on the Bristol Campus.
Minimum Qualifications: A Masters degree in a related field (MA in English, Communication, Writing, etc) or significant professional experience in the field, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be available during the day.
Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree in related field is preferred.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate English composition courses on the Bristol Campus. The candidate will also be required to complete assessment documents for each class he or she teaches each semester and to attend designated meetings of the English department.
Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English required
