Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments using RF scanners and other warehouse equipment
- Organize and stock merchandise efficiently on shelves or pallets, ensuring proper labeling and placement
- Conduct regular inventory control checks to maintain accurate stock levels and identify discrepancies
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely to load and unload goods
- Assist with packaging products for shipment or retail display, maintaining quality standards
- Support shipping & receiving activities by preparing items for dispatch and tracking deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area to promote safety and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting retail staff with stock availability and product location
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively on shelves or displays
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management systems preferred
- Ability to operate RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification a plus)
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for inventory control tasks
- Physical ability to lift heavy items regularly and perform heavy lifting safely
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for diverse teams
- Experience working in retail stores or grocery environments is beneficial
- Knowledge of retail math, cashiering, or grocery store operations is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
