Compensation: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Coxsackie Dental Arts is seeking an organized, personable, and customer-focused Dental Patient Care Coordinator / Patient Service Representative to join our growing team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for creating a positive patient experience while supporting the daily operations of our dental practice.

Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth

Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information

Assist patients with completing required forms and documentation

Schedule, reschedule, confirm, and cancel appointments

Coordinate follow-up visits and patient reminders

Help maintain efficient patient flow and appointment schedules

Maintain accurate electronic dental records (EDR)

Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries

Manage document scanning, filing, faxing, and record organization

Maintain front office supplies and place orders as needed

Ensure reception and patient areas remain clean, organized, and welcoming

Collect patient payments and discuss financial arrangements

Explain insurance co-pays, deductibles, and balances due

Submit and track dental insurance claims

Manage accounts receivable and assist with collections efforts

Enter payment information accurately into patient ledgers

Answer billing and insurance-related questions

Resolve patient concerns and escalate issues when appropriate

Support patient referral and marketing initiatives

Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality

Participate in office emergency procedures as required

Manage petty cash and other administrative duties

Previous dental office experience preferred

Knowledge of dental terminology and CDT codes

Understanding of dental insurance verification, billing, and claims processing

Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
