The Opportunity
As our Sales Account Manager (Tennessee), you'll be responsible for growing Kaiser's presence across the Tennessee market.
Your focus will be on building long-term customer relationships, winning new business and becoming the local face of Kaiser Elevators. This is one of our most important growth roles, helping establish our reputation and expand our customer base throughout the region.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing and securing new business across new installations, modernization, repair and service.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities throughout Tennessee.
- Develop long-term relationships with developers, general contractors, elevator consultants, property managers and building owners.
- Meet customers regularly to understand their needs and position Kaiser as their preferred independent elevator contractor.
- Prepare proposals, review tender documentation and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Represent Kaiser at customer meetings, networking events, trade associations, industry functions and public bid opportunities.
- Work closely with the National Sales Account Manager to follow up and convert opportunities generated within the Tennessee market.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and opportunity pipelines.
- Monitor local market activity, competitor movements and upcoming projects to identify new business opportunities.
- Work closely with Estimating, Procurement, Project Management and Operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, identifying opportunities across Kaiser's full range of services.
- Share local market intelligence and customer feedback to support Kaiser's continued growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 7 years' experience in elevator sales or account management.
- Proven success selling commercial elevator solutions within the U.S. market.
- Previous experience with an independent elevator contractor strongly preferred.
- Established relationships within the Tennessee commercial construction or elevator industry are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction, tendering and contract negotiation.
- Experience or understanding of hydraulic and traction elevator projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- A self-starter who enjoys building a market and working with a high degree of autonomy.

Location & Travel
Location: Tennessee.
Travel: Frequent travel to customer meetings, project sites and networking events across Tennessee, generally within approximately three hours of Knoxville (six-hour round trip). Occasional overnight travel may be required depending on customer or project location and will be covered by Kaiser. Attendance at annual company retreats is expected.
