About the Role
Boyer's Coffee is bringing its award-winning Aspen Gold Whole Bean Organic — and four additional signature SKUs — to Costco warehouses through a series of weekend roadshows. We are hiring two dedicated Brand Representatives to staff these events and bring the Boyer's story directly to Costco shoppers.
This is a temporary, per-show engagement running the length of our approved Costco roadshow schedule. Each show runs four consecutive days, 12 hours per day (48 hours per show), and you will be scheduled as part of a two-person booth team. We are looking for high-energy, product-passionate people who thrive in front of a crowd and can close a sale with genuine enthusiasm — not a script.
What You'll Do
- Represent Boyer's Coffee at Costco roadshows, engaging shoppers with product samples and the Boyer's origin story
- Staff the booth for full 12-hour days alongside a second rep, splitting sampling, cross-selling, and purchase-closing responsibilities (Primarily Thursday – Sunday)
- Actively sell across five Boyer's SKUs, educating shoppers on roast profiles, sourcing, and what sets Boyer's apart
- Maintain consistent booth coverage throughout the day — rotating breaks so the booth is never unstaffed during peak traffic
- Track units sold by SKU and capture real-time shopper feedback, competitive comparisons, and objections
- Restock product and sampling supplies (cups, sugar, creamer, stir sticks) throughout the shift
- Build positive rapport with Costco warehouse managers and staff
- Complete a post-show summary with sales results, shopper insights, and recommendations for future shows
What We're Looking For
Required
- Genuine enthusiasm for coffee and the ability to talk about it compellingly for a 12-hour day
- Proven experience in retail sales, food/beverage sampling, brand demonstrations, or a customer-facing role where you drove purchases
- Comfort working in a high-traffic, fast-paced retail environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work a full 12-hour shift
- Weekend availability for the full duration of our roadshow schedule
- Reliable transportation to assigned Costco warehouse locations (regional travel may apply)
- Strong interpersonal skills — warm, approachable, and persuasive without being pushy
Preferred
- Prior experience at Costco roadshows or similar warehouse club sampling events
- Background in specialty coffee, food & beverage, or CPG brand sales
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus for select market locations
Schedule & Compensation
- Rate: $20.00 per hour
- Hours: 48 hours per show (4 days x 12 hours)
- Schedule: Weekends; specific show dates to be confirmed with the Costco buyer
- Travel: Shows are clustered geographically where possible; a travel allowance is provided for shows requiring out-of-area travel
- Status: Temporary/seasonal engagement for the duration of the approved roadshow calendar
