Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle and equipment repair, particularly with diesel engines. While this role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel vehicles and equipment, there also includes work on gasoline and small engines.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in diesel engines and related systems.
- Perform routine maintenance
- Assemble and disassemble components as needed for repairs.
- Conduct heavy lifting and operate cranes to facilitate the repair process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role in automotive and/or heavy equipment repair.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate cranes safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Flexibility and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Certification from a recognized dealership or vocational school is preferred but not required.
- Welding experience is a plus
- Good driving history

Pay: $26.22 - $28.28 per hour
