Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Web Developer/Programmer to join our team and drive the development of cutting-edge web applications. Responsibilities
- Analyze business and production requirements to design and implement scalable software and workflow solutions.
- Collaborate with prepress, sales, and customer service teams to develop custom automated workflows for complex and variable print jobs.
- Design, build, and maintain Enfocus Switch workflows, including scripting, job routing, file validation, and system integrations.
- Prepare and optimize artwork and data for variable data printing (VDP) and personalized production.
- Develop and maintain custom web portals and web-to-print solutions (e.g., Infigo storefronts) for customer use.
- Integrate web-to-print systems with internal platforms (MIS, ERP, file systems) using APIs, scripting, and data mapping.
- Communicate directly with customers via email, phone, and video to gather technical requirements, provide updates, and resolve issues professionally.
- Monitor workflow performance, troubleshoot errors, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce manual touchpoints.
- Recommend and implement software enhancements, upgrades, and automation opportunities.
- Perform ongoing system maintenance, documentation, and support for production workflows.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web development and UI customization.
- Experience with Enfocus Switch (workflow design, scripting, integrations) strongly preferred.
- Experience with or exposure to Infigo or similar web-to-print platforms preferred.
- Knowledge of relational databases (SQL; Microsoft SQL Server or Access).
- Experience with automation workflows in print, graphics, or manufacturing environments.
- Understanding of programming fundamentals, including:
- Conditional logic and control structures
- Object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
- Familiarity with data formats and integrations (e.g., XML, JSON, APIs, REST services) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams and interact with customers.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a production-driven environment.

- Commercial print, direct mail, or transactional print environment
- PDF workflows, preflight tools, and file standards
- Variable data composition tools (XMPie, FusionPro, etc.)
