American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with 2+ years of inpatient and outpatient experience for a 13-week travel contract at an outpatient clinic and hospital in Carlsbad, NM.

Outpatient clinic setting with inpatient hospital coverage; inpatient is the more pressing need
-
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, with one Saturday per month at the hospital

No on-call requirements

EMR systems used: ReDoc/NetHealth and MedHost
-
Minimum 2+ years of recent PT experience required

Both inpatient and outpatient experience required

Active NM PT license required; pending NM licensure will be considered if included at time of consideration

Current BLS certification required
-
No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the contract start

Fingerprinting required for all candidates working in New Mexico

License required if applicable

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy to reduce pain, restore function, and improve mobility

Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

RTO requests must be less than one week in duration

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Any scrub color is acceptable
