Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant/Front Desk team member with fitness experience to join our dynamic healthcare practice. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify their appointment details, and assist with check-in/check-out procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Manage patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating personal information accurately
- Support chiropractic practitioners with basic clinical tasks such as measuring vital signs, assisting with X-ray procedures, and maintaining clinical cleanliness
- Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and coordinate patient flow efficiently to maximize clinic productivity
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, explaining treatment procedures, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
- Maintain organized medical records, including ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
- Assist in administrative duties such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and handling insurance documentation
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support principles
- Experience working in outpatient clinics or hospital settings such as Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers preferred
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support practices
- Ability to perform intake assessments, record vital signs accurately, and understand ICD coding processes
- Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols including medication administration and inpatient/outpatient procedures
- Fitness background that promotes patient motivation and wellness initiatives within the clinic setting
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and service excellence
