Apparel Production Manager (Costco Account Specialist)

About the Role
Our client is a leading, premier multi-divisional apparel manufacturer specializing in high-growth outerwear and swimwear categories across Men’s, Women’s, and Children’s segments.
You will serve as the central production hub across all product categories (Men's, Women's, and Kids' Swim and Outerwear), driving the execution of seasonal production processes, ensuring strict compliance, and managing global factory relationships for our largest wholesale partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Costco Account Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end production lifecycle for all Costco outerwear and swimwear programs across Men's, Women's, and Children's divisions.
- Global Factory Negotiations: Manage and partner with overseas factories to negotiate competitive pricing, mitigate tariff impacts, secure price cuts, and maintain healthy profit margins.
- Costing Excellence: Own the costing lifecycle from initial projection to final delivery. Must know exactly what it takes to successfully "land a garment" under various international frameworks.
- Logistics & Compliance Management: Direct shipping, customs, and payment workflows, maintaining expert execution under FOB, LDP (Landed Duty Paid), and DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms.
- Retailer Compliance: Ensure all production runs strictly adhere to Costco’s rigorous vendor guidelines, packaging mandates, and product testing protocols to eliminate chargebacks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal design, sales, and logistics teams to keep the time and action (T&A) calendar on track from PO issuance to final warehouse delivery.
Qualifications & Screening Criteria
- The Golden Requirement: 3–5+ years of apparel production experience specifically working with Costco. You must intimately understand Costco’s vendor portals, testing compliance, and delivery standards.
- Financial & Shipping Literacy: Expert-level understanding of apparel costing structures. You must be fully fluent in negotiating and executing under FOB, LDP, and DDP terms.
- Product Expertise: Strong background in apparel production management; experience in Outerwear and/or Swimwear is highly preferred.
- Problem-Solving & Negotiation: Proven ability to navigate factory friction, negotiate delivery extensions when necessary, and drive margin improvements.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and PLM/ERP software.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
