Hours Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm - during school year
Monday to Thursday 6am - 4:30pm - Summer hours - CURRENTLY IN SUMMER HOURS UNTIL AUGUST 21.
MUST HAVE CLEAN BACKGROUND! No felonies or misdemeanors of any kind.
MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
Key Responsibilities
Landscape laborers are responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the health and aesthetic appeal of lawns, gardens, and other outdoor areas. Typical duties include:
- Planting and maintaining vegetation such as flowers, trees, shrubs, and grass.
- Mowing, trimming, pruning, and raking lawns and garden areas.
- Applying fertilizers, pesticides, and mulch to promote plant health and control pests.
- Soil preparation and site cleanup, including digging, leveling, and removing debris.
- Operating and maintaining tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, mowers, and trucks.
- Assisting with landscape construction projects, such as installing pathways, fences, or irrigation systems.
- Watering and monitoring plant health to ensure proper growth and appearance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Physical stamina and strength to lift, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks outdoors.
- Teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with supervisors and other crew members.
- Basic knowledge of horticulture and landscaping techniques is preferred.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and follow OSHA safety regulations.
- Attention to detail to maintain the integrity of landscape designs and ensure high-quality results.
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
