Supply Chain Analyst is needed to perform the following duties:
· Analyze vehicle demand patterns using forecasting models and historical sales data to optimize inventory replenishment strategies.
· Develop inventory optimization models to minimize carrying costs while maintaining target service levels and vehicle availability.
· Perform procurement analytics on auction, wholesale, and vendor-sourced vehicles to improve sourcing efficiency and cost performance.
· Conducted lead-time analysis and supplier performance evaluations to support strategic purchasing decisions and reduce supply chain variability.
· Utilize statistical analysis techniques to identify trends, forecast inventory requirements, and support operational planning.
· Design KPI dashboards to monitor inventory turnover, aging inventory, acquisition costs, gross margins, and supply chain performance metrics.
· Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline vehicle acquisition, inspection, reconditioning, and retail readiness processes.
· Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implemented corrective actions to address inventory shortages, procurement delays, and process inefficiencies.
· Optimize logistics and transportation planning for inbound vehicle movement from auctions and suppliers to dealership locations.
· Conduct capacity planning and workflow analysis to improve vehicle processing throughput and reduce cycle times.
· Utilize advanced Excel functions, data modeling, and reporting tools to support supply chain decision-making and performance monitoring.
· Collaborate with sales, finance, operations, and service teams to align inventory strategies with customer demand forecasts and revenue objectives.
· Develop data-driven inventory allocation and replenishment strategies using Industrial Engineering and Operations Research principles.
· Evaluated inventory aging risks and implemented disposition strategies to improve inventory turnover and working capital utilization.
· Perform cost-benefit analyses and process improvement studies to enhance operational efficiency and profitability across dealership supply chain functions.
· Apply predictive analytics and quantitative modeling techniques to support procurement planning and inventory optimization initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree is required in Logistics or Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
