Your Role:
Food Preparation:
Prepare and cook a variety of fried foods to order, following established recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency. Monitor fryer temperatures and cooking times to achieve high-quality results every time.
Quality Control:
Maintain high standards for taste, texture, and presentation. Perform regular checks to ensure freshness and consistency, removing any items that don’t meet expectations.
Customer Service:
Provide courteous and attentive service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering recommendations. Address customer concerns professionally to ensure a positive experience.
Cleanliness and Sanitation:
Keep your work area clean, organized, and sanitary at all times. Follow all food safety procedures, including properly cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
Inventory Management:
Track inventory levels for frying supplies such as oil, breading, and seasonings. Communicate any shortages to management and assist with receiving and stocking deliveries when needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior kitchen experience preferred, especially in a fry cook or similar role
- Knowledge of frying techniques, food safety, and proper equipment use
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Reliable team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
