Overview
As a Part-Time Clinical Director, you will play a pivotal role in transforming lives through compassionate and effective therapeutic interventions. You will engage with Clinical Team members to provide guidance and training in order to better engage with clients to assess their needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide ongoing support in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth environments. Your expertise in psychotherapy and crisis management will empower our Clinical Team to better serve individuals and families to navigate their challenges and achieve their mental health goals.
What you’ll do to Assess and Review the Clinical Team
- Review of all comprehensive assessments to evaluate the licensed or provisionally licensed team members on their assessment of the clients' mental health needs and development of treatment plans.
- Ensuring our Clinical Teams are using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Crisis Intervention techniques to facilitate healing.
- Review individual and group counseling sessions that foster a supportive environment for clients dealing with issues like PTSD, addiction, grief, and behavioral challenges. Provide comprehensive evaluations of the Clinical Team's abilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care, including case management and medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Engage in ongoing research and data collection to enhance therapeutic practices and contribute to clinical research initiatives.
- Offer specialized support the Clinical Teams for children, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism through targeted interventions.
- Review the Clinical Teams adherence to maintain accurate medical records while adhering to ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards.
- Completion of supervision for all Clinical Teams or sign-off and review on supervision by other Clinical Leaders
What you’ll do to support the Clinical Team
- Complete comprehensive assessments when support is needed or to provide hands-on training for the assessment of the clients' mental health needs and development of treatment plans.
- Complete annual assessments and revisions of treatment plans to support the Clinical Teams
- Step in to support Clinical Team with difficult situations that may require high-level leadership support.
Basic qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Valid NC state licensure as an LCMHC or LMFT required.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and experience with medical documentation.
- Familiarity with multiple modalities of therapy for adults and adolescents.
- Experience working with a clinical team in an outpatient setting
- Experience conducting in-person and virtual sessions
- Experience taking initiative leading clinical teams
- Experience working independently
- Experience completing intake and referral processes independently
- Experience with juvenile justice involved youth
- Experience with Tailored Care Management program
