Position Summary:
Stonebridge Communities is seeking an experienced independent, multi-tasker and a self-motivated team member with an aptitude for following through to join a professional and friendly work environment. The individual will be responsible to ensure that the residential rental properties and documents are compliant with the company and affordable housing guidelines
Responsibilities:
· Review, process and approve applicants for rental and re-certification
· Audit files for accuracy and compliance with government rules and regulations
· Manage and monitor compliance related correspondence
· Set-up, monitor and maintain resident files with required documents
· Verify income, rents, and utility allowances
· Work with external auditors and government agencies to maintain compliance
· Ensure rental collection, recording and deposits are timely done
· Conduct internal audits to ensure resident files, rental and re-certification process is compliant to affordable housing, government agencies and company regulations
· Assist with site/property legal proceedings involving compliance regulations
· Assist with training the management team on compliance
· Plan and monitor compliance training and continuing education programs for the management team
· Assist with annual report completion and updating data
· Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D
2-3 years of Tax Credit compliance work experience
Knowledge in Tax Credit compliance regulations
Leadership and organizational skills
Preferred but not required:
Familiarity with Yardi program and exceptional communication skills
Hours: 40 hours per week
