Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
2. Conduct thorough and effective legal research to support advice and recommendations.
3. Negotiate real estate transactions and agreements to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
4. Draft, review, and revise a variety of legal documents, including contracts, leases, and agreements.
5. Represent the firm and its clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
6. Stay up-to-date with changes in real estate law and regulations, and advise clients accordingly.
7. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
8. Provide training and guidance to junior members of the team on real estate law matters.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active membership in the state bar.
3. 5+ years of experience as a Real Estate Attorney, with a focus on commercial real estate.
4. Extensive knowledge of real estate law, with a proven ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
5. Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving successful outcomes for clients.
6. Excellent legal research skills, with a strong attention to detail.
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. High level of professional ethics and integrity.
10. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
