Responsibilities
- Route driving to meet delivery schedules while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance standards
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery statuses, and any issues encountered during trips
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 1 Year OTR Experience
- Clean Driving Record Preferred
- Knowledge of route planning and driving regulations for commercial vehicles
- Experience with tractor-trailer operations involving different cargo types such as refrigerated goods or heavy freight is highly desirable
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and maintaining vehicle condition throughout assignments
