Bowe Machine Company is currently accepting applications for experienced, detail-oriented Manual and CNC Machine Operators/Machinists. We are looking for CNC operators that want to expand their abilities to become a machinist at the journeyman level. Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Producing parts with manual and/or CNC machines
- Performing common types of machining such as turning, drilling, boring, facing, reaming, tapping, threading, chamfering, and deburring
- Using information on job requirements from a variety of readouts and presentations including blueprints, process sheets, sketches, written and oral instructions, to produce quality products
- Maintaining a safe and organized work area
- Documenting set-up procedures, updating travelers fully and accurately
- Inspecting own parts and obtaining first article approval when required
- Properly measuring final product using calipers and micrometers
- Minimizing scrap parts and materials
- Working efficiently to meet customer deadlines
- Performing routine machine maintenance
- Complying with all safety policies and procedures
- Taking pride in workmanship and possessing a positive, team-oriented attitude
Pay: $23.00 - $37.00 per hour
