Job Summary
The Inpatient Coder will have experience with all specialties. The_ Inpatient Coder will write queries, work with the CDI Team, accept and respond to feedback, and communicate effectively. The Inpatient Coder_ must have AHIMA CCS, RHIA and/or RHIT. This is a 9-12 month contract position with possibility of extension. This is a 100% remote position. Full-time 40 hours per week, M-F dayshift schedule on EST time zone.
Job Qualifications:
- Required: A minimum of 5-7 years of inpatient coding experience
- Required: CCS, RHIA and/or RHIT credential
- Required: Software System experience with Epic and 3M 360
- Required: Experience at larger hospitals with at least 200+ beds, Level I Trauma and Academic Facility
- Required: Recent query writing experience
