MATERIAL CUTTER / SAW OPERATOR
Overview

As a Material Cutter / Saw Operator, you will support manufacturing operations by preparing raw materials and inventory items used throughout production. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, stays active throughout the day, and takes pride in producing accurate, quality work. Starting at $19.00 per hour based on skills and experience.
Schedules
After completing initial training, employees may choose the schedule that best fits their lifestyle:
- Five 8-hour shifts (Monday–Friday)
- Four 10-hour shifts (Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday)
Employees working four 10-hour shifts may select a start time of 5:00 a.m., 6:00 a.m., or 7:00 a.m.
- Overtime opportunities are available but are not mandatory.

Responsibilities
- Read work orders and production instructions to prepare materials accurately
- Cut wire, cable, tubing, and other stock materials to specified lengths
- Operate saws and hand-cutting tools safely and accurately
- Read and verify measurements using tape measures and other measuring devices
- Prepare small parts and materials for manufacturing operations
- Move inventory and materials between the stockroom and production areas
- Maintain accurate material identification and organization
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
- Support inventory and production teams to meet operational goals
Skills Needed
- Ability to accurately read and follow work orders and written instructions
- Comfortable reading measurements and using measuring tools
- Ability to safely use saws, hand cutters, and basic hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory transactions
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. regularly and up to 40 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to remain on your feet and move materials throughout the workday
Preferred Experience
Experience in manufacturing, inventory control, warehouse operations, material handling, or production support is highly valued.

- Material cutting or material preparation
- Inventory, stockroom, or warehouse operations
- Manufacturing or production support
- Shipping and receiving
- Saw operation or use of hand-cutting tools
- Assembly or fabrication environments
- Experience reading measurements and working with production documents
