Job Summary
We are seeking an all encompassing CFO of a parent company with real estate owned, brokerage, property management and mortgage. Mortgage experience is a must and this role will over see individual CFO's and Controllers as well as a large accounting team in multiple businesses. This candidate will work hand and hand with CEO to report on all financial results compiling data from all facets of the business.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Interpret financial reports to provide insights into business performance and areas for improvement.
- Write detailed financial reports that communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
- Manage cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.
- Oversee revenue management processes to maximize income generation opportunities.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for strategic planning initiatives that align with corporate goals.
- Forecast future financial trends based on historical data and market analysis.
- Assist in investment decisions by providing thorough financial assessments and recommendations.
Qualifications
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Proven experience in corporate accounting or a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in financial report interpretation and writing, with excellent analytical skills.
- Experience in cost control and revenue management strategies.
- Strong strategic planning capabilities with the ability to forecast effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
