Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in various maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring that our properties remain in excellent condition. This role requires these ability to execute any general home repair and small upgrades including, dry wall repair, touchup paint, hanging shelves, installing tvs/audio systems, gutter repair, pressure washing. We also need you to effectively communicate with homeowners.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential properties and find solutions for homeowners.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises to identify issues or needed repairs.
- Handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks as required.
- Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment according to specifications.
- Always show up on time to your scheduled appointments.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols during all tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project timelines and updates.
Experience
- 2+ years construction or similar manual labor experience.
- Willing to both communicate with clients and physically work with your hands.
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
The reason there is a range in pay per hour is because you will have a base hourly rate that's listed (65), but you will receive bonuses based off of your customers referring you to more clients and trusting you with larger projects. We structure our comp to provide a livable wage from the beginning and incentivize you to do your best work.
We provide a company truck, but you are expected to handle the cost of basic tools and maintaining the truck.
