Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Upholstery Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be servicing restaurant booth seating. There is no prior experience necessary. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of materials and techniques, contributing to our reputation for excellence in restaurant upholstery services in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, power tools, and other equipment to perform repairs and manufacturing tasks.
- Perform lifting 80 lbs. and manual handling of furniture components, tool storage cart, and other materials safely and efficiently.
- Assemble upholstery components, ensuring proper fit, finish, and durability.
- Maintain attention to detail throughout every stage of the process to ensure high-quality results and adherence to technical standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in upholstery service, manufacturing, or restoration is not required.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and specifications is not required.
- Ability to use manual tools, pneumatic tools, power tools, and hand tools effectively.
- Strong attention to detail combined with interest in craftsmanship skills.
