CDL Class A Local Drivers- HOME DAILY
Location: 18101 E Colfax Ave Aurora, CO 80011
Pay: $25.50$31.50/hour (based on experience)
Shift: Tue-Sat 5-6am start time

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to join our Local LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) Division. This position offers the benefit of being home daily while operating a manual transmission day cab with a 53-foot trailer to complete local pickups and deliveries throughout the Denver metro area and surrounding regions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to safe and efficient transportation practices. Drivers are responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining accurate paperwork, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, and representing Denver Freightways Express professionally at all customer locations.
Perform local deliveries (home daily) in a safe and efficient manner
Operate a manual transmission day cab with a 53-foot trailer
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all deliveries
Maintain and process required documentation, including:
Freight bills
Bills of Lading (BOLs)
Over-Short-Damage (OSD) reports
Manifests and driver logs
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment
Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
Adhere to safety standards in warehouse, dock, and driving operations
Provide excellent customer service
Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and customers
Valid Class A CDL required
Minimum 6 months of driving experience
Ability to operate a manual transmission
Clean driving record
Must be at least 21 years of age
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Must pass a background check and physical assessment
Company participates in E-Verify
Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, squatting, crouching, and reaching
Regular exposure to warehouse and transportation environments
Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception
