Responsibilities
As a member of our teaching team, you will:
- Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities (Teachers).
- Support classroom instruction and daily routines (Assistant Teachers).
- Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and rest time.
- Encourage creativity, independence, and positive behavior.
- Build trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
- Follow all Texas Child Care Licensing regulations and school policies.
Assistant Teacher
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in childcare, preschool, or daycare preferred but not required.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- French speaking or bilingual (French/English) is a plus but not required.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain after hiring).
- Ability to pass all required background checks and meet Texas Child Care Licensing requirements.
- Reliable, dependable, and professional.
