Duties
- Help client shop for and prepare nutritious meals
- Engage client in social activities such as walks around the neighborhood, and going out in the community
- Taking client to the gym and being a support
- Familiarity with autism support, and intellectual disabilities is advantageous
- Certification or training in CPR and First Aid is required; ongoing training in HIPAA compliance and safe manual handling practices is expected
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with client and family
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support individual with disabilities in a respectful manner.
