JOB DESCRIPTION
The Customer Service Representative in this position will act as a liaison, provide product/services information, and resolve any emerging problems that our customers might face regarding accuracy and efficiency in relation to their accounts. Customer Service Representatives can put themselves in their customers’ shoes and advocate for them when necessary. They’re patient, empathetic, passionately communicative and love to talk. They are confident when troubleshooting and will investigate if they don’t have enough information to resolve customer issues. Customer feedback is priceless, and our CSRs have the aptitude to gather that information. The best CSRs are genuinely excited to help customers. Problem-solving comes naturally to them. Their target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must successfully complete and pass applicable pre-employment background check
- Ability to perform the requirements and demands of the position
- Must reliably commute to the designated work location, and may relocate before beginning employment
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year or more of relevant work experience in customer/client service/support is preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Bilingual knowledge and skills are helpful, but not required
- Proven customer support / client service representative experience, call center experience preferred
- Proven track record of meeting / exceeding established job-related quotas / criteria
- Strong oral communication skills and active listening (particularly over the phone)
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management systems and their utilization
- Customer orientation and the ability to adapt / respond to different personalities and communication styles in a professional and timely manner
- Ability to work a consistent work schedule, as punctuality is required
- Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing
- Ability to hear at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to operate a computer / basic computer skills
- Ability to learn new processes
- Strong work ethic and time management
- Focus on safety and efficiency
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to accurately and efficiently assist with a large number of incoming calls
- Collect pertinent information to generate sales leads
- Identify and assess customer needs to find suitable products and services to meet those needs
- Ability to build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information via approved methods / resources
- Ability to meet personal / customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
- Ability to field customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives in a timely fashion and follow up to ensure resolution
- Record customer interactions, process customer account changes / updates and file documents
- Ability to follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
- Willingness to go the extra mile to engage and satisfy customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Ability to problem solve, prioritize tasks, and manage time well
- Ability to work with and support co-workers and team members
- Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
