Control Technician – Central Texas
Applied Control Solutions, based in Waco, TX, is a systems integrator providing automated control solutions to industrial clients throughout North America. We are a small but growing company offering a supportive work environment and strong opportunities for professional advancement.
We are currently seeking a Control Technician to join our team and support projects across the Central Texas region.
Required Experience and Skills
- Solid technical knowledge of control theory, instrumentation, and electrical principles
- Ability to read and interpret electrical control drawings
- Proficiency fabricating and wiring 480V/120V control panels
- Experience with motor controls, including starters, soft starters, and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Hands-on experience with VFD configuration and startup
- Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI software
- Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and configure a range of instrumentation, including level, temperature, and pressure devices
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
