About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team supporting students in educational settings. This position focuses on helping clients develop independence, social skills, and positive behaviors while working collaboratively with classroom staff and supervising behavior analysts.
The ideal candidate is team-oriented, data-driven, and passionate about creating meaningful progress for children and families.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collect accurate and objective data on client behaviors and skill acquisition.
- Provide direct classroom support to teachers and instructional staff.
- Foster a positive, engaging, and structured environment that promotes learning, growth, and independence.
- Collaborate with supervising behavior analysts and team members to develop, modify, and implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Support students in meeting behavioral, social, and educational goals.
- Maintain professionalism and clear communication with staff and families.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (preferred or required depending on candidate status).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (psychology, education, behavior analysis, or related field).
- Experience working with children in school, clinic, or behavioral settings strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow behavior plans with fidelity.
