Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Here at our Fort Worth location, we focus in manufacturing and repairs of specialized tooling and production parts for the Aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating CNC machining equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality component that meet precise specifications. The Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC & Manual machines, interpreting blueprints (customer project drawings), and maintaining equipment to uphold safety and quality standards.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining specifications.
- Utilize CAD software; CNC programming and CAD programing is a plus.
- Have basic machinist tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, to conduct quality inspections and coordinate measuring machines.
- Maintain equipment by performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and tooling effectively for various machining tasks.
- Must pass Drug Screening and Background check.
