Ichor Systems has an immediate opening for a Buyer at our Fremont, California location.
At Ichor, procurement and material availability are critical to our success. As part of our growing Global Supply Chain team , you will play a key role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials to support operations across multiple global sites. We continue to invest in our people, processes, and technology, and we are looking for a highly motivated procurement professional to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing supplier relationships, coordinating inbound material deliveries, and supporting internal stakeholders with a strong sense of urgency. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are committed to delivering results while maintaining high levels of customer service and operational excellence.
- Highly organized and able to manage significant PO workload, track and drive closure on issues
- Ability to learn / understand the supplier’s business and manufacturing processes, technology sourced, and product families
- Ability to concisely communicate escalations, requirements and issues to suppliers, stakeholders, peers, upper management and customers with clarity
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, hands-on and results driven
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of purchasing, supplier selection, cost analysis and negotiation
Work independently in fast paced environment

Experience and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering preferred
- 2-5 years relevant experience or a combination thereof
Experience working in ERP (specifically MRP) & PLM systems; Oracle, SAP and Agile preferred

For candidates in CA: The pay range for this position is $78,900 - $134,100, exempt, per year.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific range for your location during the hiring process.
