Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and freshness.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Brinks POS efficiently for order processing, cashiering, and transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing workstations and adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Handle cash accurately during transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
- Assist with food handling procedures, including stocking supplies and ensuring proper food safety practices are followed.
- Support team members in various restaurant tasks such as food prep, serving, and cleaning to ensure smooth daily operations.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
