We are currently seeking a full-time Resident Liaison to support the Butler Metropolitan Housing Authority (BMHA), with additional support provided to the Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) as operational needs require. This position will primarily serve Butler County while supporting Housing Authority operations throughout the Greater Cincinnati area. The selected candidate should be comfortable traveling between Housing Authority locations during the workday.
As a Resident Liaison, you will serve as the primary point of contact for residents, helping them navigate Housing Authority services while ensuring clear communication between residents, Housing Authority staff, inspectors, contractors, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for residents within assigned Housing Authority communities.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, Housing Authority staff, and community partners.
- Assist residents with questions regarding housing programs, inspections, maintenance requests, appointments, and available services.
- Coordinate communication between residents, inspectors, contractors, property managers, and Housing Authority personnel.
- Conduct resident outreach and provide guidance regarding Housing Authority programs and resources.
- Follow up with residents to ensure concerns and requests have been addressed.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate resident meetings when necessary.
- Accurately document resident interactions using company software and internal systems.
- Maintain organized records and prepare reports.
- Represent the company professionally while working within Housing Authority communities.
- Travel between multiple Housing Authority properties throughout the workday.
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, resident services, property management, affordable housing, community outreach, social services, case management, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents from diverse backgrounds.
- Professional, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and web-based software.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable personal vehicle.
- Active auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Public Housing Authorities or affordable housing programs.
- Experience coordinating resident services or community programs.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Compensation
- $19.00–$21.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Full-Time position.
- Monday through Friday.
- Daytime schedule.
