We are currently seeking dependable officers who are serious about working, can follow instructions, arrive on time, and maintain a professional appearance while on duty. Weekend availability is required, and we currently have a weekend first-shift position that needs to be filled immediately. Job Description
Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
- Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity and detect suspicious behavior
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
- Enforce security policies and procedures to prevent theft, vandalism, or safety hazards
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping and reporting purposes
- Assist in conflict management by de-escalating tense situations with professionalism and tact
Skills
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, loss prevention techniques, and surveillance systems like CCTV
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- First aid and CPR certification to provide immediate assistance during emergencies
- Background in law enforcement or military service is highly advantageous
- Familiarity with security tools such as access control systems and alarm systems
- Ability to perform physical duties including patrolling on foot or in vehicles for extended periods
- Effective communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and the public
- Report writing

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
License/Certification:
