Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components
- Repair and maintain facilities equipment using hand tools, power tools, and schematics to diagnose issues accurately
- Perform welding tasks and mechanical repairs involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical components
- Execute painting projects including residential and maintenance painting to uphold the aesthetic standards of the facility
- Maintain plumbing systems by repairing leaks, replacing fixtures, and ensuring proper operation of plumbing infrastructure
- Supervise or assist with building interior maintenance tasks such as carpentry repairs, drywall work, and facility upgrades
- Use electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Support the maintenance of HVAC systems including troubleshooting, repair, and routine servicing to ensure optimal climate control
- Lead or assist in supervising maintenance activities when required, demonstrating leadership in team settings
- Read schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and implement effective solutions
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices
- Proficiency with electrical work including equipment repair, troubleshooting using schematics, and use of electrical testing tools like ohmmeters
- Skilled in plumbing system maintenance and repair with an understanding of plumbing codes and safety procedures
- Experience with HVAC system repair, including diagnosing issues and performing routine servicing or repairs
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance machinery safely and effectively
- Knowledge of building interior maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and facilities upkeep
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, electrical equipment repair, and HVAC systems
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with team members and building occupants
- Supervising experience or leadership qualities that support team coordination during maintenance projects
- Fluency in English for clear communication across all levels of operations
