We are seeking a professional Receptionist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Carmel Valley, San Diego, CA. This role is ideal for an experienced front desk professional who enjoys creating a polished, welcoming, and highly organized experience for employees, visitors, vendors, and callers.
The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for the office, manage incoming calls, support visitor registration and access badge procedures, and assist with light facilities, mail services, and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Answer and route incoming calls through the switchboard in a professional, timely, and customer-focused manner.
- Greet visitors, manage visitor registration, assist with NDA completion, and maintain a welcoming reception area.
- Issue and track temporary badges and facility access cards while following established security and visitor procedures.
- Support mail services, including sorting and distributing mail, receiving deliveries, tracking packages, and notifying employees of inbound items.
- Assist with light facilities duties, including opening troubleshooting tickets, ordering and stocking supplies, and helping set up or break down conference rooms.
- Provide light administrative support such as scheduling meeting rooms, ordering catering, preparing labels, compiling materials, and assisting teams with special projects.
