Van Ert is looking for a detail oriented individual to support electrical design and documentation, helping produce accurate drawings and data that support project execution and safety compliance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and one line drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Work with engineers and project teams to gather information, support design reviews, and maintain accurate, up to date documentation.
- Assist with arc flash and power system studies by collecting field data, supporting system modeling, and helping prepare reports and labels.
- Track design deliverables, coordinate with project managers and field personnel, and support overall quality of electrical design packages.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or technical diploma in an electrical or drafting related field, or equivalent experience
- 1–3 years of electrical drafting or design experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD; EPLAN experience preferred
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and schematics
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings and visit field sites as needed
